Sunday 28th March –
Palm Sunday

Additional Collect

True and humble king,
hailed by the crowd as Messiah:
grant us the faith to know you and love you,
that we may be found beside you
on the way of the cross,
which is the path of glory, Amen

Holy Habits – Breaking Bread

Plan a special meal for Maundy Thursday to help remember the Passover and Last Supper. Bake or buy flatbreads to go with lamb and a bitter herb dip (horseradish, or celery dipped in salt water), with wine or grape juice to drink. Before eating, read Exodus 12:1-20 (the story of the first Passover) and then Mark 14:12-26 (the story of the Last Supper).

Sunday Services

We are delighted to be able to offer public worship in all of our churches again.

For regular Sunday services, there will be no need to book in advance, although places are still limited.

Booking is essential for all Holy Week and Easter Services.
If you would like to come, please contact Revd Elizabeth, stating the date, time and place of the church service you wish to attend (Email or phone 07758 407661). If that service is already full, we will let you know.

Please follow all of the safety advice you are given when you attend, and do not come if you are ill. Everyone attending church services must wear a face mask, except for those legally exempt.

Although we will be doing all that we can to make things safe, please be aware that there is still a risk, especially for those in vulnerable groups.

Online worship will continue to be available every Tuesday on the website, our Facebook group and YouTube. For more details please see our Coronavirus update page.Upcoming Services

Goods for St Petrocs

As it is not possible to have collection boxes in the churches at the moment this is a reminder that St. Minver Post Office is an alternative collecting point.
The best way to help the Bodmin branch of St Petrocs to buy fresh food is electronically.  Details for doing this have changed as Bodmin has a new House Manager, Gary Hales.

Living in Love and Faith course

We are being invited by the Bishops of the Church of England to join a national conversation about gender, identity, sexuality, celibacy and relationships. These are important and sensitive topics which touch all our lives deeply, and about which there can be much disagreement. A specially-designed small group course, Living in Love and Faith, has been produced to help us look at changes in society, different understandings of scripture and tradition, and hear real-life stories. This will be a space for us to explore, share, learn and listen to one another and, most importantly, to God. At the end of our conversations we will have a chance to feedback our thoughts to the Church of England.

Whether you have thought about these questions a lot or not at all, you are warmly invited to join us. The five-week course will be held Mondays 7.30-9.30pm over Zoom, starting 19th April. To sign up or learn more, please contact Revd Rose.
