The Thirteenth Sunday after Trinity
Additional Collect
Almighty God,
you search us and know us:
may we rely on you in strength
and rest on you in weakness,
now and in all our days;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen
Holy Habits – Sharing Resources
We are all familiar with the story of the widow’s mite (Mark 12 v 41-44). This seems to be a good time to review our giving to the church. With the pandemic and no services in church there have not been any collections. This has affected our church income. If you are not already giving on line, please consider the Parish Giving scheme which allows the church to claim Gift Aid. Here is a link. http://www.northcornwallclusterofchurches.org.uk/giving/ If you still prefer to give cash, why not have a jar that you put your money in each Sunday? In Leviticus 27 v 30 the Israelites are instructed to tithe, that is to give the first fruits of everything to the Lord for his work. The general rule of thumb is to give 10%. How is it going for you?
Sunday Services
It has been wonderful to be able to worship together in person again. We will be increasing the number of services in church in the next weeks, but places are still limited.
If you would like to come, please contact Revd Elizabeth, stating the date, time and place of the church service you wish to attend (Email or phone 07758 407661). If that service is already full, we will let you know.
For more information about Sunday services and what to expect, please visit our website. Those who are unable to attend church in person can worship with us online. Find the latest online services on our website and YouTube.

Online Services
We are continuing to offer online worship for those who cannot attend on Sundays. From 13th September, this will be a mixture of purpose-made online worship and services recorded in church on the previous Sunday. New online worship will be released every Tuesday morning on our website and on YouTube.
The Julian Group and anyone who would like to join us, meets each in our own home at 7pm every Thursday. We light a candle and read a passage from the Bible followed by silence. Then we read the second passage followed by silence and ending with Compline or our own prayers. Different members choose the readings each week. Thursday 10th September they are Luke 23. 42-43 and 1 Corinthians 15. 51-52.

Goods for St Petrocs
As it is not possible to have collection boxes in the churches at the moment this is a reminder that St. Minver Post Office is an alternative collecting point.
