The Second Sunday of Advent
Additional Collect:
Almighty God,
purify our hearts and minds,
that when your Son Jesus Christ comes again as
judge and saviour
we may be ready to receive him,
who is our Lord and our God, Amen
Holy Habits – Gladness and Generosity
Share what you have with others. In the run up to Christmas, consider
how to include others in the festivities. For example; Invite someone to
one of our seasonal services, take someone out for a Christmas treat,
invite someone who is alone for Christmas dinner, give a small gift or card
to your neighbours, give to a local or national charity.
